The Rose Hill Rockets boys’ soccer team creamed Wichita Independent last night in the first round regional play. This sent the Rockets to the next round of the playoffs on Thursday against Cair Paravel, who is 10-7 on the season. The Rockets won 8-0, their final goal coming 10 seconds into the second half. Brady Leibl had a hat trick; Caden Davis had two goals, and Tristan Benedict and Caedon Defoor also added a goal. Jaxon Kaba scored the final goal. Caedon Defoor, who is a senior, says, “We had a really good game against Independent, and now we look towards Cair Paravel, who is a new opponent that we haven’t played in my whole high school career.” We know the Rockets will continue to devour the field. Come out and support the team at their next regional game on Thursday October 29th at 6:00pm at the Rose Hill District Stadium. Go Rockets!
