The Rockets Boys Soccer season started off the right way with JV and Varsity both scoring 8-0 wins against Coffeyville.
For the Varsity team, Junior Brady Liebl had 4 goals and 3 assists, Junior Joshua Herrera had 2 goals, and Jaxon and Jordy Kaba both picked up one goal. On the JV side, Junior Ethan Hayes, Freshman Kellen Garver, and Junior David Rodela-Chavez all scored a pair of goals. Sophomore Liam Palmer and Junior Jonathan Thurn both scored one goal.
“I think the team played really well, but we still have a few things to improve upon,” Jr. Brady Liebl said. Up next on the Rockets schedule is a set of home games against Salina South on Tuesday, September 2nd.
