The Rose Hill Rocket football team is entering the 2026-2027 season with newfound confidence. After finishing 6-4 last season and winning the first round of the playoffs against Ulysses, the Rockets are preparing to build on last season’s momentum. With 16 returning seniors and many talented underclassmen, the Rockets are preparing to dominate 4A football.
It won’t be easy, as the Rockets will need to win multiple key games to claim a position at the top of the Patriot League. These games include Collegiate, Augusta, and Wellington. When asked about which game he thought was the most important, Rockets head coach Reece Petty said, “The next one. Almost all of our games are league games. They all count toward our seeding in the playoffs. We need to focus on one game at a time.”
On September 4th, the Rose Hill Rockets face off against the Andale Indians for their first game of the season. This game is an away game. The Rockets first home game will be Friday September 11th against Clearwater.
