The Rocket Volleyball Team plays in their first tournament this weekend at Wichita North. The Rockets went 2-2 in the tournament last year and boast one of the best returning records of this year’s field. Some of the key players participating in this tournament are Grace Ostmeyer from Salina Central, Ryann Daggett from Wichita North, Dyvynyty Rivera from Wichita South, and Paisley Curtis from Winfield.
“With six returning varsity players, I feel like we will compete well in this early-season tournament,” said head coach Cherith Mock. “Our pool looks good with matchups against Liberal, Collegiate, and Wichita South. I am hoping to compete and get ready for League play on Tuesday.” The Wichita North tournament begins tomorrow at 8:00am.
