The Lady Rocket Volleyball team defeated Winfield and Collegiate on Tuesday night to improve their season record to 5-1. The Rockets beat Winfield 25-20, 24-26, 25-7 and they also beat Collegiate 25-10, 25-13.
Rose Hill was led by Chloe Mock with 22 kills and a .304 kill percentage, followed by Marissa Jensen with 12 kills and a .242 hitting percentage, and Keira Mahlandt with eight kills and a .208 hitting percentage. Mock led with eight aces, followed by freshman Skylar Hensley with five. Mock also led with 20 assists, followed by Hensley with 16. Emme McNaul led with 14 digs, followed by Mock with 11. “It took us some time to get going, but once we did, we played really well,” said head coach Cherith Mock.
The Lady Rockets next matchup is September 8th at 4:30pm. They will be facing Collegiate and Wellington, who is hosting the matches.
