The Rose Hill Rocket football team kicks off its season tonight with a 7:00pm opening game against Andale at Andale District Stadium. Last year, the Indians defeated the Rockets 53-13, but the Rockets are hopeful that they will be able to bounce back. Among Andale’s key players are offensive linemen Brody Winter, quarterback Afton Allaire, and running back Jrayton Dansel.
As the Rockets gear up to face the former 3A state champions, Rockets head coach Reece Petty said, “We are excited to get the season started against the great opponent after three weeks of practice. We have a large group of seniors that are ready to get their last year rolling.”
