The Rocket football team will play against Clearwater for their 7:00 p.m. home opener Friday night at Rose Hill District Stadium. The Rockets are looking to bounce back from an unfortunate loss against the reigning back-to-back state champions, the Andale Indians last week. The Rockets defeated Clearwater 27-0 last year.
Clearwater is coming off a 7-48 loss to Wellington. The Indians’ key players include Curtis Campa (RB/LB), Emmit Ohlde (TE/S), and Dallen Kanngeisser (OL/DL).“We are excited for our first home game of the year and ready to honor the victims of September 11th,” said Rockets head coach Reese Petty. “It should be a good game and atmosphere.”
