Today, the Lady Rocket Golf team is going to Wellington Golf Club to compete in the Wellington Invitational. Last year at the Wellington Invitational, the Lady Rockets Golf team took fifth overall, with senior Hannah Reeves tying for tenth and Kolbie McEwen tying for 26. The key players from the other teams in this tournament are Aspen Colquhoun from Andover Central. “Honestly, I'm really excited,” said head coach Phil Van Horn. “This is the first tournament where the entire varsity will be together since the first meet of the year in Hesston. It's potentially a great preview of regionals as they are a host site." Freshman Ainsley Nickelson placed at this invitational both years in middle school, so hopefully she can give us a solid score in our five spot.”
