The Rockets cross country team will be travelling to Cessna Activity Center on Saturday September 19th for the Wichita East Invitational. Some of the boys teams running this Saturday are Derby, Eisenhower, and Andover. On the girls side they are facing Valley Center, Cheney, and Andover. “This is a good meet for us because it has a lot of rolling hills, and we should be able to have everybody race and we will have Sian Hoang back from her ACL injury last spring,” said head coach Brandon Barger. Last season the boys took 11th, with Jon Barb as the Rockets’ highest finisher with 29th place. On the girls side they took 10th as a team and their best returning finisher was Mya McCrea finishing 35th.
