Tonight the Rocket Volleyball team plays at Clearwater along with El Dorado. Both the Indians and the Wildcats have struggled this season. With that being said, the hope from head coach Cherith Mock is that the Rockets can get back on track after their rough weekend at the Chaparral Tournament, and on Saturday, where Rose Hill went 1-2.
“These should be two good matchups for us, and I think we have a great opportunity to come
home with two wins,” Mock said. “El Dorado is a much-improved team this year and showed
that by playing Andale tough, so we can’t overlook them or expect anything to be given to us.
We will need to come out focused, serve aggressively, take care of the little things, and limit the
unforced errors. If we communicate, play with confidence, and stay disciplined, I like our
chances tonight. We need to treat both matches seriously, take care of business, and continue
building some momentum into this weekend.”
