The Rockets cross country team will be heading to the Rim Rock Invitational in Lawrence this Saturday, September 26th during the early hours of 10:00 AM. “This is the midpoint of the season, so this is always a big test for us to see where we can place schools our size and bigger, we’ll see schools not just from Kansas but from Missouri and Nebraska. Also since we raced well last week, I’d like to see where we can keep dropping our times.” said head coach Brandon Barger.
Last year the Rockets had minimal success at the meet. Jon Barb led the boys team at 94th place. There were no placers for the girls. Rim Rock is one of the biggest meets of the year, with hundreds of teams being there. It’s a great meet to showcase your skill in front of most of the teams in the state.
