Tonight, the Rocket Volleyball team plays at Wellington along with Andale. This will prove to be a difficult matchup, considering these are two teams that they have struggled to beat over the past few seasons. “Tonight is a great opportunity for our team,” said Rocket head coach Cherith Mock. “We are facing two ranked opponents, and we know we are going to have to play some of our best volleyball to be successful. I believe we are capable of competing with and beating both teams. It will come down to serving tough, playing good defense, communicating, and limiting our unforced errors. Most importantly, we need to stay confident and trust what we have been working on all season.”
Andale is bringing back several players who earned all-league honors last season, including first season team all-league selections Abbey McNeal and Reagan Winter and second-team all-league selection Abbi Winter. Wellington also returns first-team all-league selection Dru Zeka and second-team all-league selection Kristyn Gregory.
