Starting this summer - join us starting Thursday, June 12th for weekly throwing sessions at the Rose Hill throwing pits! 🥏💪 ⏰ Thursdays at 7:00 PM (excluding the week of July 4th) 👟 Bring throwing shoes for all events 👟 Bring Soccer/Football Cleats or jav shoes for javelin throwers Open to all middle & high school athletes ready to learn, train, and level up their throwing skills. 🌟 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐊 & 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃 – 𝟗𝐓𝐇 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄! 🌟 This powerhouse group of Rocket athletes placed 9th out of 30 teams at the State Track & Field Championship—and they did it with grit, teamwork, and heart. 💪🔥 💫 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗦 Kimberlin Lovell – 4x State Qualifier and a model of consistency. She will continue her running career at Hutchinson Community College. She plans to major in Elementary Education and pursue Coaching. Mady Barger – 3x State competitor and a dominant force in the throws. She plans to major in Health and Human Performance at Emporia State University. Ava Markley – A dynamic leader and all-around athlete, leaving a legacy in both track and soccer. She will compete in Pentathlon (indoor) and Heptathlon (outdoor) at Emporia State University. She plans to major in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Physical Therapy. 💫 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗦 Emersyn Herod – 3x State Qualifier with fierce determination. Kaityn Barb – 3x Qualifier who keeps pushing her limits and earning medals. Rylee Wooten – 3x State Qualifier and 4x400 relay runner with speed and heart. She's sprinting into the spotlight! Avery Hottovy – multi-sport threat with a heart of gold! Mya McCrae – From cross country trails to the track lanes, Mya’s speed never quits! Evelyn Swearingen – Racing through both trails and tracks like a Rocket on fire! From record-breaking relays to breakout performances, this team showed up and made Rose Hill proud. The best part? Ava will attend Emporia State, majoring in Health & Human Performance with an emphasis in Physical Therapy. 🏅 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝘃𝘆 (Freshman) – Multi-sport athlete who also played in the State Soccer Tournament that same morning!
